REVIEWS.ai uses natural language processing to automatically tag keywords by sentiment (positive, neutral and negative) found in all reviews and Q&As for products in your account.

These automatically applied keywords can be seen for any individual review on the REVIEWS page and on a product’s PRODUCT DASHBOARD in the Word Cloud and Questions Cloud reports. More detailed analysis of trending topics by brand, product category, retailer or other custom filters in Word Analytics.

However, some teams and users have also find value in adding manually entered keywords to reviews and Q&As with company-standard terminology.

Manually adding your own custom keywords is Keyword Tagging.

To view analytics on manually-entered keywords, go to REPORTS in the top banner navigation, then select Keyword Tagging.

There are two ways to add new custom keyword tags.

1. From Keyword Tagging:

Click the expand menu in the top right corner labeled “Manage Tags”.

This will open up the below window.

Enter the keywords you want to be available for keyword tagging, separated by a comma, and click SAVE. These keywords will now be selectable from a drop-down menu on the expanded view of a review or Q&A from the REVIEWS page and PRODUCT DASHBOARD views.

2. From the expanded view of a content piece.

Whether you’re looking at a review or a Q&A, from the REVIEWS page, the PRODUCT DASHBOARD, or even Word Analytics, anywhere you can expand a content piece you can also add custom keywords. Simply click “Keyword Tagging”, add your custom keywords, then click SAVE. Now these keywords will be selectable from the “Select Keywords” drop down for any content piece you expand, making it easy to add the same custom keyword tags to any content piece.

Analyzing all custom keywords over time

Back on Keyword Tagging, under the REPORTS Tab, your custom tagged keyword terms appear for all retailers, brands, tags, categories, and products, based on the time period selected in the search bar at the top..

Customize your search of custom keywords with any combination of filters from the search bar and click CREATE. Click CLEAR to reset results back to all filters selected.

The report itself is broken down by average star rating, with the number of each keyword appearing for each star rating.. Q&As also can have custom keywords added and will appear here in their own section as well.

For more detail on a particular keyword, click on it.

This will open up a Keyword Timeline showing the appearance of the selected keyword over time.

Just below the Keyword timeline, you’ll see all applicable reviews (or Q&As) that have been tagged with the selected custom keyword. This allows you to look through each review in more detail as desired.
